What are the hours of operation of your office?

Our office has extended hours during tax season, we are open 9am - 8pm Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm Saturday and 1pm - 4pm on Sunday (ONLY in February and by appointment ONLY all other months). Nakowicz Financial is open year-round as your resource for Tax, Financial Planning and Investments - your whole portfolio. Please call, during the off-season, for an up to date schedule of hours.
Does Nakowicz Financial Services offer e-file and Refund Anticipation Loans?

Yes, we do. We offer e-file and free direct deposit for refunds directly sent to the customer's bank account. Refund Anticipation Loans (RALS) and Electronic Refund Checks (ERCs) are other bank product options that can quickly generate a loan on a refund in the form of a check to the customer. By choosing a RAL, the customer may receive a loan on their refund within 24-48 hours in most cases.

The president of Nakowicz Financial Services, Inc. is John Nakowicz. John is a CPA with a Master of Science Degree in Taxation. John has over 30 years of tax preparation experience. John prepares taxes and continues to review all tax work prepared by the staff insuring that all work is accurate and complete.
Don’t most CPA firms charge big bucks? How can the average person afford your service?

Nakowicz Financial Services focus is preparing Individual tax returns. We’re not a traditional CPA firm. Our large 1040 volume enables us to keep the price affordable for the average client. Our motto, “Top advice without the high price”
If you don’t look for business accounts, what do you do when there is no tax season?

Plenty! We spend a great deal of time preparing for the next tax season. Educating and training staff and ourselves in any tax law changes. We also spend some time representing clients at the IRS and states tax departments regarding any questions or unresolved issues.

We also offer financial and insurance services to our tax clients. We feel this is a good fit with the tax services, since we already spend the time getting to know our client for taxes the next step is to offer financial solutions for the client. We use a low pressure consultative approach to help you in this area.
